Can you incorporate more than 1 technology in a sign?

Yes. We can incorporate technologies such as flowing, blinking and LED in the same sign due to our patented technology such as electrodes free tubing and parallel technology.

Why is your neon sign more energy efficient than conventional neon?

Traditional neon uses high voltage to light up the neon tube. In comparison, we light up neon tubes using electric magnetic fields that are possible through electrodes free tubing technology. As a result, our sign consumes around 10 to 30 watt per sign. This is equivalent to 30 % of what traditional high voltage neon consumes. It may not seem much at this stage, but it could save you up to hundreds of dollars in the long run.

What should I do if my sign is broken? Can I fix it myself?

If your newly purchased neon sign arrives with broken glass, please do not attempt to repair the sign yourself and contact us within 5 days of receiving your sign. A Bortly Neon Corp USA customer service representative will contact you either through email or by phone to schedule a return pickup of your existing sign and delivery of a new sign.

If the glass in your sign break after 5 days of receipt. Do not attempt to repair the sign yourself. Please contact Bortly Neon Corp USA. A Bortly customer service representative will determine if it falls under our warranty and will contact you either through email or by phone.

What should I do if my sign stops working?

If the sign stops working due to breakage, please review our warranty and return policy for further instructions. If everything looks alright, but the sign fails to light up, please try the following before contacting us:

Switch the sign off and wait for 30 seconds before turning the sign back on.
Turn on the sign and wait for 5 – 15mins for the sign to warm up.

If none of the above work, please refer to our warranty policy for further instructions.

Where can I place my neon sign?

You should not, under any circumstance, place your neon sign outside. Outdoor placement is considered misuse of the product and would void the warranty. Your sign is constructed for indoor use only and can be placed virtually anywhere in your home. Your sign has been designed to hang on a wall, hang from the ceiling or stand on a counter or shelf. You may also want to consider hanging your sign on the interior of a window with the logo facing outward for passersby to notice. When determining where to place your sign, please keep these tips in mind:

In some instances, a neon sign can cause interference with radio equipment. If you are experiencing interference, try plugging your sign into a different outlet away from your television or radio. Be sure you do not damage the ground pin ("U Pin") on the plug of your power cord. Good grounding is essential for interference suppression.
Try to avoid displaying your sign within the path of your remote controls. This will eliminate any possible interference with an infrared remote control
As with any electronic device, you should never operate your sign in or near water

How do I clean my neon sign?

Be sure to always unplug your neon sign when handling. Next, use a feather duster or a dry cloth to dust off your sign. Never use a cleaning solvent or water to clean your sign. Be very careful not to break the glass. If you do accidentally break the glass, please contact us immediately.
